great place to study downtown

I like to come here and study when I need to get out of the house. I love their HoneyCo coffee that they make themselves. They also have great pastries and ice cream which are a great study break. Both locations have great coffee but the downtown one is my favorite - it just feels a little cozier to me.

Great coffee

If you like great coffee, look no further. Scout is the place to go in SLO for world class coffee. They are doing a world class job - I would put them in the same category as Stumptown, Blue Bottle, or Ritual. When I was in, I had a single origin pour over - it was exceptional.

weekend ritual

My wife and I come here every Saturday morning and have a coffee date. We live close to downtown so it is easy to walk to Scout. They have some outdoor tables which can be nice when the weather cooperates (most of the year) and a nice space inside to hang out. We enjoy coming here and getting a pastry and coffee to kick off our weekend.

Love to hang out here

Scout has the best interior of any coffee shop in slo - they have done a great job arranging their shop. Has a very modern and hipsterish feel which is cool. Only downside is that I don't love their coffee.

Best Coffee in SLO

I love coming in to Scout to grab a cup of coffee with a friend or read a book. When you walk in, the aroma is very inviting and the ambiance of the shop is so nice. I love their coffee and their pastries are the best in town. The Ethiopian and Columbian HoneyCo beans are my favorite so far - but I've never been disappointed with anything I've had here. Love it (so much that whenever I'm in, I also pick up a bag of beans for the house)!
