Staff behind the bar are great. Super friendly. Beer is pretty good too.
Santa Maria Brewing Co in SLO is out by the airport in an industrial / commercial area - a bit out of the way from downtown but it's worth it. Great patio / outdoor area. It feels like you're hanging out in your buddy's back yard. Lots of comfy seating, games, and they sometimes have live music. They have some things to order like chips but I had some food delivered and no one seemed to care. This is my favorite brewery in SLO. Can't say enough good things.
Santa Maria Brewing in SLO has a great location. Love their outdoor area with a giant fire table and giant jenga. Their beer was just ok when it was Tap It but has gotten a lot better since Santa Maria is running the place. Love that it is close to work so it's easy to swing by. Good people here too.
I love to swing by Santa Maria Brewing co with my boys and grab a brewchacho or two during happy hour. It's a great place to hang out and unwind after a long week. Only gotten better since Santa Maria Brewing took over Tap It. So many more beers on tap now. Recently been loving the Exploration IPA and the B410 Double IPA. Julicious isn't too bad either.
Tap It is a fun brewery to hang out at after work. They have a cool outdoor patio with a huge fire pit that is nice on cooler evenings. They have solid IPAs and occasionally do special brews which are fun to try. I recommend their classic Tap It IPA and their 3 on the tree IPA. If you're not an IPA fan, their Ale Camino (amber) is a great choice.
